Do you allow parking at the hotel? 

We have valet parking only for $28 per night. The garage is on-site and equipped for most vehicles. We kindly ask that if you do have an oversized vehicle that you please contact our front desk or valet teams to discuss the parking here as there is a 7ft. height limit on vehicles entering the garage. 

 

Do you allow pets? 

We do not allow pets at this hotel. 

  

What are my exercise options?  

Hotel 1868, our newly built sister Cambridge hotel, just installed a gym that is packed with PRECOR equipment. This facility includes state of the art exercise equipment that will suit every type of person. You can log in to your account and access personal trainers, virtual experiences, and even your Netflix or Spotify account at the tips of your fingers. All you need to do is show your keycard at the front desk and we'll let you right in! 

Additionally, the Porter Square Hotel has a partnership with a women-only gym across the street called Healthworks, and sell day passes to their facilities, classes, and spa for only $10.  We are located just over a mile from the Charles River Esplanade, a walking and biking path along the river. Additionally, the Minuteman Bikeway begins a mile away from us in Davis Square and offers miles of biking trails heading north.  

  

What are my food options?  

Porter Square offers many different food options all within a short walk from the hotel. Food styles range from Indian, Thai and Japanese, to American pub fare, pizza, and Mexican. Additionally, we are situated across the street from a large shopping center that includes a 24-hour grocery store and CVS, Dunkin' Donuts, Panera Bread and Cafe Zing located inside Porter Square Books. 

  

Do you have free Wi-Fi?  

Yes, Porter Square Hotel offers complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the building. We also have a business center available for guests who require the use of a printer or computer.  

  

What are my options for getting to and from Logan Airport?  

The options for transportation are taxi, public transportation or a town car. Uber and Lyft are also options on a personal basis.  Check your confirmation for additional details once you've booked a room. 

How far is your hotel from Harvard?  

Harvard is exactly one mile from Porter Square Hotel. It is one stop on the train, a short bus ride, or about a twenty-minute walk down Massachusetts Ave.  

 

What are your check-in and check-out times?   

Check-in starts at 3:00 p.m., and check-out is 12:00 p.m. 

  

Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?  

Both early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and are determined the day of your check-in or check-out. Feel free to call the front desk to check on the availability status. 

  

Is your bedding hypoallergenic?

Yes, all of the bedding here at the hotel is hypoallergenic. We use synthetic pillows and comforters to ensure everyone's stay is comfortable and feather free.

 

Is there public transportation close by?  

The Porter Red Line train stop is just a two-minute walk from the hotel and there are multiple public bus stations near the hotel. 

  

Do you offer luggage storage?  

Yes, we offer complimentary guest-only luggage storage upon arrival and departure.  

  

Do you have meeting space available?   

Yes, our sister property Hotel 1868 has an excellent setting for your next meeting in Cambridge. Our 250-square-foot meeting room includes a 76-inch flat-screen HD TV, a conference table that can seat up to 10 people and a state of the art conference phone.
